For over fifty years Zambaiti Parati, a leading company in the wallcovering sector, has developed high quality wallpaper collections, characterized by authentic Made in Italy style. The products are distinctive, timeless and unique, capable to bring personality and sophistication to any environment. Zambaiti Parati was founded in 1973 in Albino (in the province of Bergamo) by Ferruccio Zambaiti, who serves as a president. the company is now under family leadership. Zambaiti Parati is formed by network of active partners active in almost every country worldwide, predominantly focusing on exports and close collaboration with the wholesale distribution channel, consisting in specialized showrooms. In this global direction, the opening of foreign factories and subsidiaries has been significant.

Zambaiti’s vision is based on ‘Made in Italy’ values like technological innovation and Italian creativity, capable to conquer foreign markets.
Nowadays the customization becomes an important driver, in constant dialogue with the industrial nature of the company. Another technical detail is the realization of the printing cylinders through a subsidiary company capable of creating those embossing and relief textures that characterize the company’s wallpapers. In this sense, Zambaiti is a unicum in the sector. From the development of the decorative subject to the final result, all operations are under the company’s control.

Focus on the product

The industrial product behind the success of Zambaiti Parati is an embossed register vinyl made in large volumes, whereas the brand ‘Zambaiti Contract’ – strongly custom oriented – offers other types of supports, natural, on fabric, and proposes itself as the ideal partner for developing a high-end personalized product.
If a great deal of attention continues to be paid to the different stages of vinyl production, nowadays the new company project is in search for innovative supports that go in the direction of sustainability, both in production phases and in the entire product life cycle.

History
More than half a century of tenacious and intelligent industrial history

Ferruccio Zambaiti founded Zambaiti Parati in 1974, in the heart of Lombardy. The company enjoyed a stunning period of growth acquiring other companies and building factories in the main foreign markets, pursuing a line of environmental sustainability and quality certification, all the while dedicating a significant percentage of investments in Research & Development.

    Ferruccio Zambaiti founded the company in Albino, Bergamo.

  • 1979

    Vinyl wallpaper production started up.

  • 1984

    The first plant for recycling inks was purchased.

  • 1986

    Redona WallCovering Spa was acquired.

  • 1990

    The MURELLA brand was officially taken over.

  • 1994

    The Zambaiti China Ltd. plant was built.

  • 1996

    The product warehouse was completely computerized.

  • 1997

    Zambaiti France was founded in Paris.

  • 1998

    “Incisioni D’Arte” started up business.

  • 2000

    A plant for total recycling of waste water came on line.

  • 2001

    Computerization of the finished product warehouse was completed.

  • 2002

    ISO9001 certification was achieved and use of heavy metal free pigments

  • 2003

    MURELLA Spa was incorporated.

  • 2011

    The energy independence of the Albino production site is achieved thanks to fully available Renewable Energy production plants (Hydropower).

  • 2012

    Inauguration of the new production plant in the Moscow region.

  • 2014

    Enlargement of the Russian factory.

  • 2016

    Launch of the first collection designed in cooperation with maison Trussardi.

  • 2017

    The complete recovery of product waste is introduced for reuse with use other than the production of wallpaper (Circular Economy).

  • 2018

    The abatement technology of the coating and embossing systems is updated with the installation of a thermal regenerative post-combustion system (Clear Emission).

  • 2019

    Beginning of the cooperation with Automobili Lamborghini.

  • Introduction of products without phthalates (Phthalates Free).

  • 2020

    The new project of Zambaiti Contract comes to life, with the first collection “Eterea”.

  • Launch of the first collection and collaboration with the Maison of Haute Couture Elie Saab.
